Administrative Responsibility for Regulatory Compliance

Title IX Compliance Officer

The human resource officer shall serve as the Title IX compliance officer. The Title IX compliance officer shall coordinate the board's efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under 34 CFR Part 106, including any investigation of any complaint alleging the board of education's noncompliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended, which is designed to eliminate discrimination on the basis of sex in any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. On the first day of each school year, the Board of Education shall notify all students and employees of the name, office, address, and telephone number of the Title IX compliance officer.
