Principle II: Safe and Orderly Environment

A school’s climate and culture are fundamental to the educational process. As a result, we will ensure that our schools provide safe and enriching environments for teaching and learning to take place.

Goals
1. The number of serious incidents in the District will decrease by twenty percent each year for three years

2. One hundred percent of District facilities will possess state-of-the-art working security systems, including video cameras and staff and student access cards at the high school level.

3. District security personnel will be highly trained in the area of school safety and security
