| If the heat index
is 105 degrees for
three days in a row
and the school is
not air conditioned,
an assessment of
the temperature inside
of the building will
be conducted. While
this process is being
conducted, we advise
the school to limit
recess. We contact
Aramark (food services)
for them to bring
to the school cold
water. If the school
is deemed too hot,
we move the children
to an air conditioned
holding location.
Or, at the Superintendent’s
request, we close
the school for that
day. |
