Project Even Start
A family focused literacy program that strives to break
the intergenerational cycle ofunder education and poverty
To be eligible for Even Start, a family must have a parent
who is eligible to participate in an adult education program
under the Adult Education Act and have children between
0 – 7 years of age.
Services include:
- GED Preparation
- Early Childhood Education Program for children 6 months
to 5 years old
- Parenting Classes
- Planned activities for parents and children
- Free breakfast and lunch
- Free transportation
