Our Mission:
St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) Early Childhood Division recognizes that the foundation for life-long learning begins during the first few years of life.  Its goal is to establish active partnerships between parents, early childhood educators, childcare providers and community resources to assist in the successful and seamless transition of young children from home to school.  It recognizes the parent’s role as the child’s first and most influential teacher. It seeks to support them in that role and their efforts to maximize the child’s full potential in language, intellectual, physical and socio-emotional development
