Elementary School Principal: Master’s Degree in education
from a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
recognized accredited college or university; a Missouri Elementary
Principal’s Certificate; minimum of five years administrative
experience on the elementary level; minimum of five years teaching
experience on the elementary school level. Has demonstrated
ability to provide instructional leadership for the school
staff, students and parents as well as interact with parents
and members of the broader community in the design and delivery
of educational programs. This is a twelve month position.
Middle School Principal: Master’s Degree in education from
a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary education recognized
accredited college or university; a Missouri Elementary or Secondary
Principal’s Certificate; minimum of five - years administrative
experience ante elementary or secondary level; minimum of five
years teaching experience on the elementary or secondary school
level. Demonstrated ability to provide instructional leadership
for the school staff, students and parents as well as interact
with parents and members of the broader community in the design
and delivery of educational programs. This is a twelve month
position.
Elementary Administrative Assistant: Masters Degree in Education
from a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
recognized accredited college or university required; an Elementary
or Secondary Principal’s Certificate; successfully passed
Missouri State Principal’s Assessment; Missouri Teachers
Certificate; minimum of five years teaching experience at the
relevant level; and minimum of two years of educational leadership
experience, such as teacher-in-charge, team leader or department
head. This is a twelve month position.
Middle School Administrative Assistant: Masters Degree in
Education from a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary
Education recognized accredited college or university required;
an Elementary or Secondary Principal’s Certificate; successfully
passed Missouri State Principal’s Assessment; Missouri
Teacher’s Certificate; minimum of five years teaching
experience at the relevant level; and minimum of two years
of educational leadership experience, such as teacher-in-charge,
team leader or department head. This is a twelve month position.
Secondary School Principal: Masters Degree in education from
a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
recognized accredited college or university; a Missouri Secondary
Principal’s Certificate; successfully passed Missouri
State Principal’s Assessment Missouri Teacher Certificate
at the secondary level; minimum of five years of teaching experience
at the secondary school level; minimum of three years of educational
leadership experience, such as Assistant Principal, Department
Head or Instructional Coordinator. Demonstrated ability to
provide instructional leadership for the school staff, students
and parents as well as interact with parents and members of
the broader community in the design and delivery of educational
programs. This is a twelve month position.
Secondary School Assistant Principal: Masters degree in education
from a Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
recognized accredited college or university; Secondary principal’s
Certificate; successfully passed Missouri State Principal’s
Assessment; Missouri Teacher Certificate at the secondary level,
minimum of five years of successful teaching experience at
the secondary level; a minimum of three years of educational
leadership experience, such as Department Head or Instructional
Coordinator; demonstrated ability to work with the principal
to provide instructional leadership as well as interact with
parents and members of the broader community in the design
and delivery of educational programs. This is a twelve month
position.
Incomplete application packages will not be considered. A
complete application Package consists of an application, a
comprehensive résumé, two letters of reference
and the appropriate certification and education. A portfolio
demonstrating that you possess the necessary education, experience,
skills, knowledge and abilities is preferred. A panel of three
or four administrators will conduct interviews based on established
criteria to determine which applicants will be placed on the
appropriate non-ranked eligibility lists. When qualifications
are equal, preference will be given to qualified city residents.
