St. Louis – Free haircuts for kids will be the highlight
of back to school activities scheduled for this Saturday, Aug.
26 from noon until 6:00 p.m., at two St. Louis locations:
Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club
2901 North Grand Ave.

The community rallies are the result of a partnership between
Radio One, including radio stations Hot 104.1 and Foxy 95.5,
KTVI Fox 2, and the St. Louis Public Schools.
In addition to free haircuts for kids, each location will
also have a limited supply of donated back to school supplies
and “American Idol”
compact disc cases provided by KTVI Fox 2. There will be varying
activities at both locations, including free health screenings,
free food, and entertainment.
“These community rallies are a great opportunity for
St. Louis Public Schools students to prepare for the return
to school,” said Dr. Diana Bourisaw, Interim Superintendent. “We
are very grateful to our community partners for their tremendous
support of our school district,”
she said.
Haircuts will also be offered between noon and 6 p.m. at
