SLPS Superintendent Diana Bourisaw Responds to Questions Regarding CEO Rick Sullivan

Reports are circulating that Missouri Governor Matt Blunt has withdrawn the appointment of Rick Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer of the St. Louis Public Schools and the Special Administrative Board. Diana Bourisaw, Superintendent of the St. Louis Public Schools, issued the following statement today:

¡°Rick Sullivan¡¯s appointment to the Special Administrative Board remains in effect. Reports indicating that Governor Blunt withdrew Mr. Sullivan¡¯s appointment are unfounded. The district will continue with business as usual. The next meeting of the Special Administrative Board is Thursday, September 6, at 6 p.m.¡±

The Special Administrative Board meeting will hold its public meeting at 801 N. 11th St., Room 108.
