POWER RESTORED AT LANGSTON MIDDLE
SCHOOL
Students in all St. Louis Public Schools will be back in their
regular classrooms effective tomorrow, Dec. 6, after power was
restored to Langston Middle School late today.
Students at Langston attended classes at Webster Middle for the past two days.
On Monday, five St. Louis Public Schools were relocated to alternate sites due
to power outages caused by last week's ice and snow storm. Power to most of those
schools was restored on Monday.
"We appreciate the cooperation of the affected students and their families
these past several days," said Dr. Diana Bourisaw, Superintendent of Schools.
"The administrators and teachers at these schools also deserve recognition
for ensuring that teaching and learning continued during very trying circumstances," she
added. |
