APPLICATION DEADLINE QUICKLY APPROACHING FOR MAGNET SCHOOLS

(St. Louis) – The application deadline is quickly approaching for parents who want to send their child to a St. Louis Magnet Schools. For most magnet schools, applications must be received by Friday, December 29. For Kennard, McKinley, Metro, Cleveland NJROTC, Gateway Institute, Soldan International Studies and Central Visual and Performing Arts High School, applications must be received by December 15, 2006.

The Saint Louis Magnet Schools are part of the area-wide school desegregation program. Under this program, each magnet school is racially integrated (except for Simmons MEGA).
