PARITY PLAN HIGHLIGHTS
•
A new teacher with a BA+15 will receive approximately a $10,000
raise over a 4-year period.
• A new teacher with a MA+15 will receive approximately a $10,000 raise
over a 4-year period.
• A teacher with approximately 10 years of service with a MA+15 will
receive approximately a $20,000 raise over 4 years.
• A new teacher with a MA+30 will receive approximately a $14,000 raise
over 4 years.
• A new teacher with a PhD will receive approximately a $15,000 raise
over 4 years.
• There will be an increased stipend for coaches, department heads and
team leaders, and substitute teachers will also receive a 3% raise over the
next three years.
• The pay increases will be retroactive to the beginning of the school
year which means that teachers will receive retroactive payments from $350
to $1,000 on December 17, 2004.
