ABC’s Carole Simpson Brings Ultimate Reality Show to SLPS Students

Veteran television journalist, ABC News correspondent Carole Simpson was in St. Louis on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 9 and 10, to talk with students at Central Visual and Performing Arts and Roosevelt High School about current events and issues and to convince them that serious news affects their lives much more than the gossip columns and sports pages. In her travels to high schools all over the country, she has engaged teenagers in discussions about the value of reading and watching the news, the role of a free press in a democratic society, and the importance of being informed citizens in an American society that faces challenges at home and abroad.
