Schools will hold a Special Board meeting on Monday, December
13, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. in the Foundation Room of its administrative

Cohn. Dr. Cohn shall serve as an educational advisor to examine
and inform the Board and District leadership on matters relating
to improving academic achievement of students. As consultant
his responsibilities would be: 1) participate in a review
of the academic achievement needs of District students and
assess the extent that the District is meeting student achievement
goals established by state and federal law; 2) review and
assess District plans to improve achievement; 3) review and
assess implementation of those plans; 4) review, analyze
and report student achievement data to the public, teachers,
and building level staff; and 5) attend meetings of the St.
Louis Desegregation Task Force. Amount of the contract is
$100,000.00 with an amount not to exceed $12,000.00 for reasonable
travel expenses, and an amount not to exceed $12,000.00 for
reasonable research costs incurred. Funding source to be

holiday period. The financial benefit in the selection of

to design and develop a vast amount of information including
the following web products and services: an administrative
home page; instructional web sites for mathematics and science

from school, home, or globally. This training will allow
teachers to add MAP Attack lesson plans, assignments, homework
and projects for parents and students to access on the internet;

to have a statement of “intent to partnership” in
order to secure the federal funds that pay the other 75%
of this program.
