STATE REPRESENTATIVE MIKE DAUS TO VISIT KENNARD
ELEMENTARY
St. Louis – Students and staff at Kennard Classical
Junior Academy, an elementary magnet school located at 5031
Potomac, will welcome State Representative Mike Daus (District
67) tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. Rep. Daus will start his
tour by greeting the student body on KCJA radio followed by
visits to several classrooms.
“We are excited to share with Rep. Daus all of the
positive things that are happening at Kennard,” said
Merry Denny, principal of Kennard. “It
is my hope he will be the first of many state and local leaders
who will visit our fine school,” she said.
Rep. Daus is the great-grandson of Croation immigrants to
the Soulard neighborhood. He has served as a member of the
House of Representatives for over five years having been originally
elected in August 2001.
