Radio Station Hot 104.1 Kicks Off School Tour
Disc Jockeys to encourage students at Compton-Drew Middle and Beaumont High to stay in school and make good grades

(St. Louis)—Students at Compton-Drew Investigative Learning Center, 5130 Oakland Ave., will play host to local radio personalities from Hot 104.1 tomorrow, Jan. 24, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Young Dip, evening disc jockey at the radio station, will serve as the celebrity host for this first of several school visits Hot 104.1 is organizing.

“This is an excellent way of encouraging our students to stay in school and strive for good grades,” said Superintendent of the St. Louis Public Schools, Diana Bourisaw. “I appreciate the ongoing support of this radio station, and all our community partners, in helping to inspire our students to succeed,” she said.

Students will be entertained during a special hour-long assembly which will include local radio personalities and celebrity artists, including Joker and the Deck, and Young Beno. The Motif Dancers, a community-organized dance team, will also perform.

The school tour will continue at Beaumont High School on Wednesday, Jan. 31. Beaumont is located at 3836 Natural Bridge Ave.
