Interim Superintendent Receives State Certification

(January 3, 2005) – Dr. Pamela Randall Hughes has been notified that she has received superintendent certification for the State of Missouri. The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education informed Dr. Hughes today of the certification. “This is a great accomplishment resulting from a lot of hard work and I am extremely happy and excited that this is now behind me,” said Dr. Hughes.

Dr. Hughes recently graduated from the Broad Academy for Urban Superintendents. She holds an Ed.D. in Education Administration from St. Louis University and a Master of Science Degree in Education Administration from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. She also completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, where she was an honors graduate.
