Details:
Big Picture schools are designed for students who have demonstrated a need for individualized curriculum and smaller school settings. For those students who repeatedly exhibit disruptive behavior in the classroom, instructional methods are used to help refocus student on academics and creative projects. This, in turn, leads to positive behavior, increased student achievement, and greater confidence among youngsters.

Students have opportunities for internships, job shadows, and field experiences. At each grade level, children explore their personal interests and skills in an innovative project-based learning environment. St. Louis’ three Big Picture schools are among 39 model schools in the nation that embrace the philosophy of educating one student at a time.
