OPEN HOUSE FOR SLPS MAGNET SCHOOLS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY,
MARCH 15, 2007
St. Louis – The St. Louis Public School District will
hold an open house for its 24 magnet schools on Thursday, March
15, 2007. The open house will begin 30 minutes
after the regular start time of the school and ends 30
minutes prior to dismissal.
“Parents who are interested in sending their child to
a magnet school will have an opportunity to talk to administrators,
ask questions regarding the specialty programs, and receive
informational materials and applications,” said Louis
Kruger, Executive Director of Business Operations. “By
doing this open house during a school day, parents will have
the opportunity to see firsthand all of the wonderful things
going on in our magnet programs,” he added.
