PUBLIC HEARINGS ON SCHOOL DISTRICT’S PROPOSED BUDGET SCHEDULED

The St. Louis Public School District will host the second in a series of public hearings regarding its proposed budget for fiscal year 2007 on Wednesday, May 24, at 6:00 p.m. at Carr Lane VPA, 1004 N. Jefferson Ave. The district’s proposed operating budget for Fiscal Year 2007 is $383 million.

A third hearing will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Carnahan Middle School, 4041 S. Broadway.

The St. Louis Board of Education is expected to vote on the budget at its next regularly scheduled meeting
