Superintendent Floyd Crues Takes Extended Family Leave

(November 16, 2004) – Interim Superintendent Floyd Crues today informed Board President Darnetta Clinkscale that he is taking personal medical leave under the Family Medical Leave Act. Mr. Crues does not know how long he will be absent from work but has indicated he expects it to be for an extended period.

Ms. Clinkscale said according to the School Board’s policy Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Pamela Hughes will assume the Superintendent’s duties in his absence.
