An Enchanted Adventure
Two Ames VPA Students Take the Stage at Opera Theatre of St. Louis

St. Louis—Ames Visual and Performing Arts students, Joseph Brooks and Halima Tsigem, will perform in The Enchantment of Dreams, a production of the Opera Theatre of St. Louis. They were chosen last spring after auditioning with students from across the metropolitan area. Public performances will be given on October 27, at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., at the St. Louis Art Museum.

Opera Theatre offers professionally staged productions performed by young people for audiences of all ages. The young cast works in a professional setting with experienced conductors, directors, designers, and at least one adult performer. They are treated as young professionals and are expected to meet the highest standards. The experience gives the students an inside look at the real world of opera production.
