Got Milk? St. Louis Public Schools
Students Will Have Plenty
Gateway Elementary Student Wins Prairie Farms Milk Carton
Contest
St. Louis – Milk cartons in the St. Louis Public School
District will soon have a new look, thanks to Gateway elementary
student Allison Atlas. Allison is the grand prize winner of
the “HOLY COW,” Prairie Farms milk carton design
contest. Allison’s design will make its debut Thursday,
Sept. 21, in school cafeterias across the Greater St. Louis
Metropolitan and Illinois areas.
More than 200 students from the St. Louis area competed in
last spring’s “HOLY COW! milk tastes great! contest
by drawing a picture showing their favorite way to drink milk.
Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. created the contest as a way to educate
students about the role milk plays in leading a healthy, active
lifestyle.
Two additional Gateway Elementary students, Bryanna Arnold
and Shelby Parnell, received first prize honors.
