Hello parents and students of Jaguar Nation! I would like to welcome you to Carr Lane Middle School and introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Maria Hill, and I will be serving as the 6th grade CWC/resource teacher. I began my career with the St. Louis Public Schools as a substitute teacher at Roosevelt High School. Since earning my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I have worked as a resource teacher at Vashon High School and Fanning Middle School.

I most enjoy working with children of all ages, and I am passionate about collaborating with students, parents, and staff to provide the educational supports that our students need to be successful. When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

I am certain we will have a great school year as we learn, try new things, and grow together. As we transition to back to in-person learning, teachers will continue to incorporate technology throughout instruction. Assignments and other resources will be posted in Microsoft Teams for each of the students' classes. As a resource teacher, I will be added to those classes and can assist students with their assignments.
