Ms. Lindsay Rundell
Hello! My name is Ms. Lindsay Rundell and I am the Carnahan Physical Education and Health Teacher.
I was born and raised in South County, St. Louis and currently reside in South City, St. Louis. Some of my favorite things to do in St. Louis are go to sporting events, try new places to eat, and visit the wonderful and FREE St. Louis Zoo.
I graduated college in 2016 from the University of Missouri, Columbia. During my time at Mizzou I earned my Bachelors degree in Secondary Education - English Language Arts. I began my teaching career in Hazelwood School District teaching 7th grade English Language Arts for one year. After that, I decided to focus on finishing my Master's degree at UMSL which I completed in August of 2019 in Secondary Education - Curriculum and Instruction.
From August of 2019 until May of 2021 I worked for Special School District at Truman Middle School in the Lindbergh School District as a paraprofessional working with special needs students, both with intellectual and behavior needs.
During the winter of 2021 I took my certification exams for Health K-12 and Physical Education K-12 and after taking a much needed break during the summer months of 2021, I began looking for a Physical Education/Health teaching job in a middle or high school, and am grateful to be given the opportunity to begin this journey at Carnahan! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time thus far at Carnahan and have loved getting to know each and every student.
