Ms. Elizabeth Foster
Hello! I am Ms. Foster! This is my 6th year with Saint Louis Public Schools. I began my career at Compton Drew teaching Creative Writing and 8th Grade ELA. This year I am very pleased to be returning to Metro Academic and Classical High School, where I will be teaching Freshman Literature, Creative Writing, and AP Language and Composition! I will also be coaching the Speech and Debate team and co-sponsoring the National Honor Society and the yearbook.
A little about me- I grew up in Denver, Colorado and learned to ski and snowboard as a kid, though it was not my favorite thing to do. I am an avid Broncos fan due to my time in Colorado, BUT I root for the Kansas City Chiefs these days. I moved to Missouri to complete my education at the University of Missouri Saint Louis in 2016 and have been loving it here in Saint Louis ever since.
In my free time I like to read, write, and cook. I have a crazy cat named Dottie and a Toy Schnoodle named Cooper! I am a stepmom to a zany little girl named Lila.
Education:
I received my degree from The University of Missouri-St.Louis in 2018. I have a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education English.
I graduated from Lindenwood University in May 2022 with a Master's of Fine Arts in K-12 School Administration.
If at any point in the year you have questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email! elizabeth.foster@slps.org
