Welcome! I am excited about our new endeavor of Distance Learning! I will update this page by Sunday evening for the upcoming week. For each class, you should estimate no more than 60 minutes of learning every day. Some of the activities are lessons to complete. Others are suggestions for daily practice in classes such as independent reading, math problems in IXL. There is a Daily Learning Log for students to proudly keep track of their work every day. Some students will attend class with another teacher for one, or more, of their classes. I will make sure that you are aware of where everyone needs to go to logon for their class. You will receive logon information via email. The District has several websites where you can receive extra support. There is a hotline for students and parents requiring social and emotional support. Their number is 314-345-6900 or they may be reached at email@example.com. Other informational sites are:*Free meals for students can be contacted at www.slps.org/meals.*Academic materials for families has information at www.slps.org/keeponlearning.*Additional Resources can be accessed at www.slps.org/resources.Distance Learning is a new endeavor for all of us, please be patient with us and yourselves as we navigate these new processes together. Most importantly take care of yourselves. If you have any questions please contact me. I am available from 8-3 by email, cell phone and text. I will have virtual office hours from 10-12, Monday - Friday. During that time I will be able to address questions from parents and/or students immediately. If you need assistance at any other time please contact me so that we can arrange a time that will work for you. Please note in order to contact me students need to go to the TEAMS website or by an email with their parent cc'd. Phone calls and texts need to go through a parent/guardian phone.Microsoft Teams LinkSCIENCEhttps://teams.microsoft.com/l/team/19%3a43ef014e2e09462f856fa3c7427f332e%40thread.tacv2/conversations?groupId=8e1e6e3f-f931-4021-b668-e982f12e65e0&tenantId=08e33d6b-a654-486a-80e3-20b190ae22d7
