NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY (NJHS) APPLICATION
Dear Compton-Drew Students and Parents,
The application period for the NJHS Compton-Drew ILC Chapter is now open.
Only 7th and 8th Grade students with a 3.0 grade point average or better are eligible to apply.
Applicants are to have no major infractions of school rules and no more than 10 excused absences for the school year. Each applicant will have an in-person interview with the Staff Council.
The Staff Council of the NJHS will review and select students to be inducted into the NJHS. Parents and students will be notified in writing of all pertinent information regarding the student and his/her preparations and expectations for the Induction Ceremony and what it means to be a member of the NJHS. The induction ceremony will be held in September 2019.
Make sure your application is complete including the parent’s signature and turn this information by August 30, 2019 by 1:00 p.m.
