St. Louis Public School Students Head Back on First Day
ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Summer is officially over for students in the St. Louis Public Schools. And many more districts will follow suit, welcoming kids back to school.Just over 23,000 students are heading back to school in St. Louis and the superintendent would like to see perfect attendance on the first day. Dr. Kelvin Adams was preaching his message of important education on Sunday.
Students may see improvements to school buildings this year including new state-of-the-art science labs and cafeterias, upgraded technology and added security features, plus athletic facilities. It’s all part of a $150 million-dollar upgrade plan.
Dr. Adams especially wants youngsters to show up on the very first day.
