Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year! I am looking forward to "seeing" you all again, and getting to know some new faces online starting Monday, August 31st. This year, I will be teaching an ESOL Class and I will be co-teaching 8th grade Science with Ms. Pfaff! While we are virtually learning, you can find everything you need for those two classes under the "Virtual Learning" tab and in our Teams here:
In addition to continuing our learning, it is also important for us to take care of ourselves, physically and mentally. Try to get plenty of rest, get some exercise, do something fun, and socialize virtually. Remember that in difficult times, it is important for us to be kind, empathetic, and supportive of each other. Check-out the "Social Emotional Support" tab for resources. If you need support, please click here. We can do this together. Take care, and be well ♥

I am proud to say that SLPS has been my home since 2010 ~ and Busch since 2011. After 8 years of teaching 6-8 English Language Arts (ELA), I transitioned to teaching 6-8 English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). This year, I will work with students in the ESOL program during their 8th grade Science class with Ms. Pfaff, and I will teach a 6-8 ESOL class.
When I’m not at Busch, I enjoy being at home with my family, spending time in my backyard, and getting outdoors. I love learning about history, politics, and social justice. I continue trying to figure out how to best contribute to anti-racism and equity in our community.
