Welcome To Gateway Middle School's Library Page!
This year students and parents are able to search Gateway's library from home and/or
a mobile app!
You can do a Basic search, Power search, or a Visual search. These tabs are located in the
upper right corner of the catalog section.
Having problems with your search? The help option is located above these tabs - How can I..... ?
More options for your search are located in the Narrow your search to....... section.
2. Destiny Quest
Another feature is DestinyQuest, located in the side bar to the left of the page. The Destiny Quest
Home page contains the Top 10 Books, Resource Lists, New Arrivals, My Personal List,
and Search. When you log in you can check out the
e books on the Follett Shelf located at the top of the page. By logging in you may also put books
on hold, create lists of books you would like to refer to, look at your account to see which books
you have checked out and when the books are due.
To login to Destiny students will use the following information.
Login: student ID number
More About eBooks!
There are several ways to search for eBooks:
-Type ebooks in the "find" window and hit enter. This will give you a complete list of
- Go to the "Narrow your search to.... " section which is pictured below and use the
Material Type window and select Electronic Book (eBook). Now when you search for a title
in the "Find" window it will only show the eBooks that are available.
-Students use your SLPS computer login information
-Teachers use your Gateway Library login information.
With your login information you will be able to check out and download an e book
which will return automatically in 2 weeks.
The generic login will allow you to open an eBook and read online but you will not be able to
check-out or download.

A Mobile Quest App is available for download in the Apple App Store and
the Google Play Store, free!!
The app allows you to have remote access to Destiny Quest to:
- Browse the catalog.
- See the "New Arrivals" in the library.
- Create a list of titles you are interested in by using "My List".
- View "Resource Lists" created by your teachers.
- View the "Top Ten" most popular titles.

3. Resource Lists
Also located in the side bar to the left is the Resource Lists feature. When you click
on it you will see special lists with recommended reading, books of special interest,
classroom reading lists, and more. Try it out and have fun!
