ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - Travis Brown, the director of athletics for St. Louis Public Schools, was recognized on Saturday, October 19th for his efforts to raise awareness of concussions and brain injuries, by the Brain Injury Association of Missouri.
Brown was honored with the “Service Excellence Award” at the Brain Injury Association of Missouri 9th annual conference awards luncheon and meeting at the Embassy Suites in St. Charles.
The Brain Injury Association of provides support, education, recreation, referral services, and advocacy for persons with brain injury and their families, as well as professionals and the community.
