Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to Dance at Ames VPA! I look forward to going on a dance learning journey with you this year that will take us through history and around the world. As a teacher, I believe in the exchange of knowledge; I love learning from my students! I also believe that cultural context is critical for an authentic and equitable educational experience. Our dance curriculum will center around community as we study technique, mindfulness, purpose and tradition. Although school will look different this year, we will continue to build our foundation for the future—remember, learning never stops!!
