Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Missouri State University 2009 Please message me on TEAMs or Class Dojo as well.

Mrs. Jamie Dubbs

I am so excited to start out another year here at Mann Elementary. My name is Jamie Dubbs and I will be your child’s Pre-Kindergarten teacher. To have a place of growing knowledge and acceptance is what I want for my classroom. I would hope that we will be able to work towards a successful year together.

I was born and raised in St. Louis and attended Missouri State University where I graduated with a degree in elementary education with an emphasis in early childhood education. I am married to my husband Dale and we have one son who turned two in June. We have an English Bulldog named Bucky who is 5½!

This will be my 10th year at Mann Elementary and I have taught PK all 9 of those years. I have worked with Mr. Kenner our teacher assistant for 9 of those 10 years. We are an unstoppable team in the classroom.

Teaching has always been a passion for me. I have a love for learning and I hope that my students would also learn to love learning as much as I do. In the past while in the school building, I strive for making the classroom a safe, fun and disciplined place for my students, I would hope that they will enjoy coming to school and learning something new every day. The start of this year is a little different and I am hoping to develop meaningful relationships with each student even if when we only see each other virtually to start. I feel that all children are different and require special attention and affection for them to flourish. I will strive to be that for each of my students; an educator who loves each child that walks in her door (or joins a virtual class meeting) and gives each of them not only an education, but a passion to learn.

This year will definitely be a fun and unusual  year, but as in every school year, things can and will come up. I believe that a successful year starts with an open communication line between parents and teachers. Please feel free to call/text (314-492-1299), email (Jamie.dubbs@slps.org), send message on classdojo with any questions or concerns. I will get back to you within 24 hours.

Thank you!

Mrs. Dubbs
