    Returning Student Registration will be 
    Coordinated at Your School
    It is that time of the year when we begin gathering information and documentation for returning students in SLPS’s Early Childhood Education programs. Parents/Guardians, we are already excited about the upcoming 2022-2023 school year! Our goal is to partner with parents/guardians and community members to create the best possible education experience for your child(ren). We are here to help!  
     
    List of Requirements

    Age Requirements
    Children must be 5 years old on or before July 31 to be eligible to attend a Saint Louis Public School. You will need to present your child's birth certificate from the Bureau of Vital Statistics at the time of school enrollment.  

    Registration Requirements
    The registration process for Kindergarten students is held at the neighborhood school sites; contact your school for dates and times.  Please bring the following items with you:

    • Your child’s birth certificate
    • Your child’s immunization records and physical exam
    • Your child’s school transcripts or most recent report card
    • Proof of residency

    Residency Requirements
    Children must be 5 years old on or before July 31 to be eligible to attend a Saint Louis Public School. You will need to present your child's birth certificate from the Bureau of Vital Statistics at the time of school enrollment.

    • Current unpaid Utility Bill (electric, gas, water/sewer bill)
    • Deed/Sales Contract, Lease/Rental contract, current real estate tax receipt

    Health Requirements
    The State of Missouri requires all children entering Kindergarten to have a current Immunization Record, Physical Exam complete with Vision Test to enroll and attend school.
