• UPDATE: Distance Learning

    Hola alumnos y familias,

I hope this message finds you well. I have heard from and checked in with some of you. If we have not communicated, please reach out so that I can figure out who is not getting my messages.

***IMPORTANT*** Students please copy your parents in you email communications with me. This is a district request. At the top of your email it will say "To" and my name. Then below the "To" it says "Cc." Next to the "Cc" put your parent/guardian's email. Thank you.

Monday, April 6th at 8:00 am, I will start posting weekly assignments for students on Microsoft Teams. Students, you should have an invite to Microsoft Teams in you school email. If you need your school email information/password contact me. Parents can view weekly assignments on my teacher webpage (http://www.slps.org/45307) under the assignments tab on the left.

I realize you all may be feeling various degrees of anxiety and stress. My hope is to give you opportunities to occupy your minds in a positive way and by no means to overwhelm anyone. Please reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns, and I will see what I can do to help.

    Saludos cordiales,

    Profa. Licklider

Profa. Licklider

¡Hola alumnos y familia! I am Profesora Licklider, the middle school Spanish teacher at McKinley Classical Leadership Academy. I teach Spanish ONE and Spanish TWO. My approach to foreign language class focuses on aquiring the language. When acquiring a another language first we LISTEN, then we READ what we have heard, then we WRITE what we have heard and read, and last we SPEAK because we have heard, read, and written it. Please take a look at the resources below to learn more about language acquisition and its benefits, and feel free to email me with any questions you have.
