STAR reading and math may be familiar for reading and math scores. But they also allow for individualized learning assigned by teachers. If you child's teacher has assigned resources you can access them at the link below. You will need you student's STAR login to access these resources. Please contact your child's teacher via Dojo messaging or district email if you need additional infromation.

NewsELA is a wonderful website that provides current events for the student. You are able to adjust the reading level and keep the content. There is also a 4 question quiz at the end of the artlice.

Readworks is a website that provides fiction and nonfiction reading material adjusted for a students reading ability. Many of the readings include multiple choice and short answer comprehension questions (or discussion questions). There are also articles of the day on related topics. It is suggested that students briefly write a book of knowledge reflection on what they learned.

Freckle allows to student to work in core subject areas at their level. There is a preassessment to determine their starting ability. This helps to encourage appropiate academic challenge and engagment. Students earn coins for the work they do and are able to "shop" once they build their bank.
