Welcome to Madame Hamlin's French class.
In this new and, still unusual school year, I look forward to meet each and every one of you.
Soon, we will be embarking in a slightly different, yet, improved educational experience from last school year. Yes, we can be together again! However, and because your physical and mental health are important to all of us as a school community, new and strategic procedures are being put in place to create a secure and welcoming environment where the utmost learning can occur.
Let's make sure that, once again, we can make the best of it, and enjoy with me, the learning of the most romantic language on earth. Let's together embrace the change, and immerse ourselves in the language and culture of the French speaking world!!! Go Phoenix!
My name is Reyna Hamlin. Although my closest friends and family call me Karina (my middle name.)
I am originally from Ecuador, South America. I have been living in this beautiful country for 24 years already! Time passes so fast when you are having fun, which is why the last five years teaching at Career Academy have been so amazing.
A little more about my life....
I am happily married to a wonderful American man, and have two beautiful daughters. One is already following my footsteps at teaching, and my oldest one is an attorney. Both have made us so, really proud.
As for what I do...
I decided to get into this career because of my love for teenagers, my passion for teaching, and my love of foreign languages. One day, I realized those three things were the perfect recipe for the best career of all, that of being a teacher. So, VOILA!
I want to tell you that, as much as I can, I will try my best to have your child succeed in my classroom. I will always be here for them if they need me and when they need me, and always here for you, because I know you want to see your child succeed in school, and that includes my classroom!
