Mrs. Louis Room 112 Updates
Hello Room 112 families,
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Due to COVID-19, SLPS is currently participating in distance learning space until further notice. This will continue to be re-evaluated in coordination with the Mayor's office and Dr. Fredrick Echols, the Diretor of the City's Department of Health. I will also be posting more activities and assignments that you can do with your child at home during this time of social distancing. Here are some helpful information from St. Louis Public Schools website:
Support Hotline: The district has established a direct hotline for students and parents requring social and emotional support. The hotline can be accessed by calling 314-345-6900 or via email, email@example.com
Additional Resources: For help with utilities, internet connection for online learning, assistance for seniors, mental health care and free food for pets visit: www.slps.org/resources
Meals for students: The District will be providing a week worth of food each week on Mondays from 9:00am-11:00am at Stix ECC. You can get more information about other locations on the website: www.slps.org/meals.
Instruction: I will be contacting you about scheduling to do group and/or individual live teaching sessions via Microsoft Teams. I will also be posting and/or sending home activities you can do with your child at home. We will be working on the letter of the week each week starting with letter t. We will also work on numbers, writing activities and activities that promote verbal communication. We will also continue to work on IEP goals.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers!
