Ms. Margaret E. Smith

Welcome, Students!  I am a proud graduate of the St. Louis Public Schools, having graduated from Sumner High School.  I received an academic scholarship from Sumner to attend Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.  My love for Math has been ongoing all throughout my undergraduate career and my adult life.  After Trinity, I attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee, where I completed 11 undergraduate classes towards a major in Math.  Throughout my 20 years teaching Math for the St. Louis Public Schools, I've taught Algebra 150 at Roosevelt High Schools, Geometry 250 at Beaumont High Schoool, and my current position at ICA, where I've taught Geometry 250 and Advanced Algebra 350.  In the summer of 1993, I pledged the graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Nu Sigma Omega Chapter, in my hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi.
