Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I hope this letter finds your family safe and healthy. My name is Mrs. Christine Tongay and I will be your child’s preschool teacher this year along with Ms. Brandie Harris, the teacher assistant in our classroom. Although we are uncertain how our school year will begin and what procedures will be in place, Ms. Harris and I will be here to support your child socially, emotionally and academically.
In the event we begin school August 24, 2020 in the building, the first days of school will be filled with your child meeting new friends, explore and learn how our classroom works, be a part of establishing classroom expectations, read books, and sing songs. Throughout the school year we will have exciting activities and events.
Our classroom’s logo is Clifford the Big Red Dog. Please be sure your child wears the Clifford name tag the first few days of school so we can be sure he/she gets to the correct classroom. Also, if your child is a bus rider, be sure to send his/her bus card. Please keep it in his/her backpack for reference.
I am looking forward to a great year with your child!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Tongay
