College Applications:

    If you need support in filling out college applications, please reach out to Mr. Taylor for support. Application deadlines vary by institution, so it is imperative that you know the institution's deadline. If you need help in finding this, reach out to Mr. Taylor.

    All students of MCKLA are eligible to receive a fee waiver for their college applications. To request a fee waiver, see Mr. Stuckey  or request one from Mr. Taylor.

    If you are interested in using the Common Application for your college applications, please let Mr. Taylor or Mr. Stuckey knows. The Common App allows students to apply to multiple schools at once. The application is helpful for students and parents. The Common app requires full collaboration between students, counselors, parents, and recommenders. For more information on the common app, see HERE

     College Fairs:

    Infinite Scholars Fair

    The Infinite Scholars Fair is hosting its annual College Fair at St. Louis University's Busch Center Sunday, September 18th 2022. Infinite scholars fair offers students and parents the opportunity to:

    - Learn how to finance a college education with scholarships.

    - Connect with our network of 400+ colleges WAIVING APPLICATION FEES for our students.

    - Meet college representatives 

    - Receive scholarships and college acceptances on the spot!

    Students should bring: multiple copies of transcripts, ACT/SAT test scores, letters of recommendation, an essay titled “Why I want to attend college”, and a resume.

    There is no cost for students to participate.

    Infinite Scholars Fair



    The Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) is the application that determines students' eligibility for financial aid. Note, all eligible students have to apply in order to receive scholarships, grants, and loans to attend college. The 2023-2024 FAFSA opens October 1st.     Parents and students can begin to create FSA ID's. The FSA ID serves as a username and password for the FAFSA. The FSA ID will allow access to the FAFSA, IRS Data Retrieval transfer and the ability to make corrections if needed. To create FSA ID click HERE
