Welcome to Reading Intervention for the  2023-2024 school year!  I am so glad that you are here. Life has been crazy busy as usual with my family and their schedules.  My son, Luke graduated college this last year and has continued with his passion for playing baseball by now coaching full time. He works for the Adidas Athletics Association as the Offensive Coordinator. He also recently became an assistant coach for Meramec Junior College here in St. Louis. My second son, Noah is now in his senior year at St. Louis University expecting to graduate in May with his degree in Accounting. He is presently applying to attend Law School in the fall, following in his father's footsteps.  My daughter, Marie is freshman at Kansas State University studying Fashion with dreams of landing in NewYork after graduation. Bringing up the rear is my baby, Lily who is in her junior year of high school and is enjoying being the "only child" in our household.  My husband, Todd fills his days with countless hours of golf in between chasing our two goofball Goldendoodles, Goose and Maverick.

I am (of course) excited to be back at Adams this school year! This will be my 6th year at Adams and my 15th year with SLPS (even though I started way back in 1995).  Before Adams, I was a reading teacher at Monroe, Columbia, and Oak Hill.  I began my teaching career as a 1st grade teacher in 1995 at Sherman Elementary.  I love reading because I believe that it is the main building block in the foundation for success in just about all other subjects.

I am looking forward to working with and celebrating all of our Adam's Alligators!!
