Ms. Davis

Hello, My name is Mable Davis. I have been a part of St. Louis Public Schools since kindergarden. I went to Walnut Park Elementary school, Langston Middle school, and Beaumont High School. I became a substistute teacher in 2002. I have subbed at many schools and just about all grade levels. I can truly say that high school is my favorite grade level and teaching Social Studies courses are extremely exciting and rewarding for me. I am now the Teacher of Record at Vashon High School home of the Wolverines. I teach American History, World History and Contemporary Issues.

What I enjoy the most is advocating for human rights, reading, cooking, spending time with my family and attending conferences. The book I am reading right now is Blessed in the Darkness by Joel Osteen. He is also my favorite author. I enjoy reading poetry and going to Open Mics. I also enjoy reading quotes. My favorite quote is by Mahatma Ghandi~"Be the change you wish to see in the world".
