I began my career in education over 17 years ago as a substitute teacher. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an additional certificate in Early Childhood from the University of MO -St. Louis and a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Lindenwood University. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education degree in Instructional Leadership from Lindenwood University with an anticipated graduation date of Spring of 2023. Prior to being a classroom teacher, I was fortunate enough to work as a paraprofessional alongside some really awesome teachers. This is my first year at Dewey International Studies. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years and we have 2 children ages 17 and 15. My hobbies are gardening, reading novels, trying new recipes, and doing DIY projects.
