My name is Mrs. Sherri Reed-Parker and I serve as the College Admission Specialist at Central VPA High School.

I am very excited about beginning this journey with the Senior Class of 2024. I  graduated from Georgia State University with a B. S. in Criminal Justice and an A. S. in Political Science. I also attended Clark College, now known as Clark Atlanta University. I have worked in youth development for over 20 years.

My goals for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year are to ensure that every senior student at Central VPA has the opportunity to explore and select the best post-secondary choice. In my role as the College Admissions Specialist, I will do the following:

- Assist students with completing college and scholarship applications.

-Assist students/parents with completing FAFSA applications.

-Facilitate career readiness workshops with 9th-12th graders.

-Assist students with creating individualized college or career plans.

-Monitor students' academic success.

 As a College Admissions Specialist, I understand the importance of having someone to assist with the college/career process, and I look forward to serving our students.
