     Principal Message

    Dear Cadets and Families:

I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy.  It feels so unnatural not being able to see our cadets or to talk to them every day.  I know that I speak on behalf of all our staff at Cleveland when I say we miss you and cannot wait to see you again!  With only one week of school left, we are getting ready to close this school year.  Over the past few days we contacted each senior family with specific updates on graduation, senior clearance and other items.  If you haven't heard from us, please give us a call at 314-776-1301 or email

Our calendar has been updated with specific details for cadet end of year clearance.  Please check for your specific times and dates for the curbside clearance.  We ask that all underclassmen bring their technology item(s) and textbooks.  When you arrive, please stay in the car and our staff will assist you with your drop off.  We have collected items from your lockers, you will be receiving theim as well.

Stay safe and we will see you next week!

     Dear Cleveland Cadets and Famlies:

We miss you!!!!  It seems strange not to see your familiar faces and smiles every day.  I wanted to send you all a message of encouragement to let you know I am thinking about you, miss you, and looking forward to the times I can see you again. None of us were prepared for what is happening now.  As we all cope with the changed circumstances, please remember a few things that may ease your time of social distancing, anxiety, fear and loneliness.

    • Stay Positive - nothing lasts forever and this too shall pass.

    • Be Proactive - wash you hands often, stay home, reach out virtually to your loved ones, check on them often.

    • Savor the Small Moments - laugh often, share your jokes, be silly, it is ok to clown around.

    • Strenghten Your Connections - focus on your family and loved ones.  This is the time to come together and share stories, play games, etc.

    • Dress Up - just because you are home, doesn't mean you can't look and feel great.

    • Get Up and Move - exercise is the best medicine, it uplifts your mood and makes you feel better.

    • Record Your Experiences - journal your thoughts and experiences during this time. Take pictures, videos, etc.  It will become part of your and national history someday.

Finally, every dark cloud has a silver lining. Take this opportunity to streghten your resilience, take care of your mental health so that you can become even stronger.  We are in this together!

COVID-19 Resources

shot New Vaccination Required: Before starting the 12th grade, students must receive a vaccine against meningitis, an infection of the fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord (this is also for 7th graders entering 8th grade). If your student going into the 12th grade received his/her first meningitis immunization at the age of 16 or later, a second one will not be needed. Otherwise, two are required. Please have this immunization done as soon as possible and make sure your school nurse receives documentation. Please contact your school nurse or nurse coordinator at (314) 345-4401 with any questions.
