Open Enrollment and Resource Fair

Saint Louis Public Schools invites all families to attend the SLPS Open Enrollment and Resource Fair, a districtwide event designed to help families prepare for the upcoming school year while connecting with important school and community resources—all in one place.
This family-friendly event offers enrollment support, school information, health services, student performances, and community resources to support students at every stage.
VIP Kindergarten Family Hour | 9:00–10:00 AM
Families with 4- or 5-year-old children entering kindergarten are invited to attend a special early-access hour designed just for them.
During this dedicated time, families will receive priority enrollment assistance, personalized support from SLPS staff, and early access to key resources in a relaxed setting. The special hour will also feature a guest appearance by Dr. Albert J. Sanders, host of Teaching in Room 9 on PBS Channel 9, as well as performances by SLPS students.
Families attending the kindergarten hour will have access to:
- On-the-spot kindergarten enrollment assistance
- Health services, including lead testing, dental services, and immunizations
- Support from The Ashrei Foundation, which will cover the cost of obtaining a Missouri non-driver ID and a birth certificate issued anywhere in the United States
This special hour is designed to ensure families of incoming kindergarteners feel confident, informed, and fully supported before the fair opens to all families.
