THE STL PLAN PROCESS

The St. Louis Plan provides a formal process of teacher support and evaluation for both veteran and beginning teachers.  The Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) process is designed to offer teachers support, advice, and the guidance necessary for success.

 Your participation involves close collaboration and communication with an Induction Coach or Consultant Teacher.  Your coach/consultant wants you to succeed!  The purpose of this collaboration is to improve the quality of your instruction and to retain quality teachers.

 This process includes several cycles of observing, conferencing, goal-setting and evaluating focused on the four performance areas are Planning and Preparation, Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional Responsibility.
