The national program brings together secondary-level social studies teachers and supervisors from across the country for an immersive educational experience focused on the United States Supreme Court. Only 60 participants nationwide were selected for this year’s institute.

During the six-day experience, participants will study the history and current work of the Supreme Court while learning directly from leading litigators, legal experts, and educators. Attendees will also hear final decisions announced by the Justices inside the Court and attend a private reception at the Supreme Court.

Sara Mark becomes the fourth Saint Louis Public Schools educator selected for the opportunity, joining Dr. Debbie Schmidt, Dr. Glenn Barnes, and Joe Kibler as past participants in the prestigious institute.

The experience is designed to deepen educators’ understanding of constitutional law and civic education while providing tools and resources to bring those lessons back to students in the classroom.

Saint Louis Public Schools congratulates Sara Mark on this outstanding achievement and national recognition.
