At Saint Louis Public Schools, our school nurses dedicate themselves to nurturing the health and well-being of students. They engage in community and public health education efforts and conduct health-related investigations to enhance wellness in our schools. A key feature of their role is providing direct care and health education independently within the educational environment. Our nurses operate with significant autonomy, guided by the general oversight of the School Nurse Coordinator and a Medical Director. They are integral members of the Department of Student Support Services team, working collaboratively to support our school community.
